AsiaPac's DOUBLEUP Initiative
What is DOUBLEUP?
In 2019, AsiaPac Oil & Gas implemented a scheme where each member of staff at supervisory level or higher will be required to develop a protégé in order to develop their careers, provide succession and project continuity, prevent stagnation in the industry, and ensure a satisfying workplace. Our managers-in-training are developed and taught all the skills necessary to take their careers to the next stage, either with AsiaPac Oil & Gas or another company of their choosing.
This initiative is known as AsiaPac's DOUBLEUP program.
Coached, trained and assessed under our Competency Management Program, this initiative forms part of our company vision to develop and nurture the upcoming generation into the oil and gas industry, and provides DOUBLEUP personnel with the tools necessary to succeed in the business and provide a safer, more competent industry for future projects and generations. DOUBLEUP is a core part of our sustainability objectives and company vision that is designed for the following purposes:
